 Summary and feelings about the course 

 

In this post I will talk about my feelings and opinions about this course. Also, this is a little recap what I learnt in this course. I want also, talk about my weaknesses and strengths little bit.  

First, I have to say that before this course started, I was very doubtful and unsure of my performance. I thought that everybody will laugh and mock at me in this course because my English it’s not that good. So, firstly I was little bit scared. In addition to this after first meeting everything seemed very complicated. Moodle page and first counselling meeting helped me a lot to understand what I have to do in this course. I understood that this course is for me, and I can focus on those things that I see important. Also, my teacher Robert Moncrief was very helpful and nice guy. He helped me to improve my self-confidence and do things that I see best way to learn.  

 

I decided to focus on my weaknesses but also do the fun things like travelling and learning English with my buddies. I also read one big book and that is something that I don’t still understand because I always been thinking that I never could do that. Reading a big book helped me to understand what I have to learn more to be better reader and speaker. Also, I understood what things I have to focus when I read my study books.  

 

I think that this course opened my eyes that I can learn English on my own and I don’t need especially English courses to develop my English. In the future I will definitely study much more on my own and with my friends because I think that is best way to learn. When I study on my own, I can focus on those things that I see important and also, I can go with my own pace. Internet is full of teaching videos and exercises that you can use to be a better at English.  

 

Overall, I am very happy that I choose just this course because it was very comfortable and versatile. Atmosphere in this course was really cheerful and no one questioned the skills of others. I really recommend ALMS English course to everybody. If you are wondering whether you are good enough for the course, you really are! All the people on the course are of very different levels, but no one cares about your mistakes, because everyone wants to improve in English and has come to practice it. Last but not a least I want to thank my teacher, Robert Moncrief. He was very helpful, and he helped me find motivation to study English again! I decided that next summer I will try to develop my English to a new level, thanks for this will go to this course.
