Fool me once

I just watched the Netflix series Fool me once. First i wanna say that it was very addictive and engaging to watch this series. I decided to watch this series because usually I like thrillers and action movies. I also thought that it could be a nice way to learn English. While watching, I focused on listening skills and learning new words. It was nice to see that I understood almost everything. 

So “Fool me once” is a thriller series written by Harlan Coben, following former soldier Maya Burkett as she investigates her husband's murder. During the series, it becomes clear that all the murders and conspiracies are somehow connected to each other and Maya Burkett sets out to solve them. There are many conspiracies and murder mysteries in the series, which the main character sets out to solve. The main character in the series is played by Michelle Keegan and I think she is great for that role. There are many different plot twists in the series, so it is not easy for the viewer to guess the outcome. At least I thought I knew who the murderer was, but there was always a new plot twist to mix things up. I think the series was really exciting and it was really nice to watch because you never knew what was going to happen next. 

After the first episode of the series, I thought this might be a horror series because I had a few flashbacks of a few horror movies. First I tried watching without English subtitles, but after the second episode I had to turn it on because I missed so many words the actors said. Sometimes when I did not understand some words I paused a series and took the Google translator and translated them. Also I wrote down a couple words that were new for me. New words were at least these: "bribes" , "tumble" and "presumably".  After all, I understood almost every word and I was able to enjoy the series. Next time when I watch a movie or series I will try to put subtitles off because it’s much harder to understand but it develops me more. I also think it's a very good way to learn new words, when I see a new word I press pause and take the Translator and translate the word, at least I remember almost all the new words I've translated. I will definitely use this tactic in the future. 

I really recommend this series because it is very exciting and surprising. Also if you like Thrillers and action films this could fit you. Watch this series and tell me what you think about it!
